I'll just take to beating the games on my own! Other than that, I had something like this for game saves, and I remember that it took forever to figure it out and then it messed with the game so much, that it became useless, and the price of this one, wouldn't doubt me anymore. Getting trophies also adds more fun for me and more replay value to the games (Which is something that nintendo needs to consider, instead of listening to their hardcore fans who think that trophies/achievements ruin a game).the trophies make it more fun for many people.
Other than that, I really don't care for them anymore, call it being more of an older gamer, it makes it more fun to play it on your own. The only times I really ended up using them, was just to get further into the game, or have some fun with friends at the time (Ren And Stimpy was always fun, and having 'easy fatalities' on Mortal Kombat 2 was a blast to actually see them).
